It's been like a super duper long time since I've done anything here on DA. If there's anybody who follows me here, I'll let you know that I still sometimes come online and see what's new. Anyway here's an update on how things have been going for me... Christmas went really well this year, I think this is the first time ever I've gone through the holiday season without screwing up things or having any kind of family drama. Other than that, I've been busy with work, where things could be a lot better in that regard. One positive is that I'm close to starting the search for a home to buy, but I'm not sure where to start with that.

I don't post on here often enough, but I need to make an update in my life. Yesterday (Monday) has been a very sad day for myself and for everybody in my family because my grandmother has passed away suddenly Monday morning. It's been really tough on me for sure, especially considering that I spent my birthday with her and my mother, and we shared cake together. Now she's gone. Just like that. I can't get any sleep tonight since I'm so overcome by sadness, as well as worry for my mother and how she's handling the situation.

... Is so damn disturbing that it makes you want to clear your browser history, close the browser, reformat your hard disk, and then set your computer on fire all before thinking of a something you can use to bleach your eyeballs? I had that happen last night, though I stopped short of reformatting my hard drive.
